straitPortal ENOVIA Subcontractor Collaboration

straitPortal supports collaboration via the Web. In many collaborations a contractor executes (project specific) engineering work for the client. The client would like to monitor progress. It is also important that all the new work fits into the numbering and classification scheme of the client. Retrospectively registering new documentation is very labor intensive – the renumbering of 3D CAD models and drawings often (nearly) impossible.

This straitPortal module supports the following process steps: web access for subcontractor to shielded projects, creation of registration cards in ENOVIA SmarTeam in accordance with all applicable rules (numbering, classifications, etc), possibility to apply for additional numbers at any time, upload of CAD models, check for duplicate ENOVIA SmarTeam numbers during upload, clear reports of outsourced work and its progress. All this without the sub contractor having to have access to ENOVIA SmarTeam.
